BitPesa is a digital currency platform for Africa. The first product is for Bitcoin remittances to Kenya. This is a completely new outlook on money transfers to East Africa. Gone are the hidden fees, unfair exchange rates, and unreliable delivery. We use the Bitcoin payment system infrastructure to offer guaranteed same-day delivery at a third of the cost of bank transfers or other money transfer services.
BitPesa’s platform integrates seamlessly into banking and mobile money information systems, and offers its financial partners a direct window into diaspora communities around the world. With end-to-end regulatory compliance and KYC protocol, BitPesa helps eliminate fraud, increase the growth of bank balances and gains back the trust of valued diaspora clients.
